We’re partners in life, parenting and business, and this is where we come to talk about all of it.
We live in John’s hometown in a house we feel so lucky to call home, with John’s mom in an attached in-law. She confirms for us daily that we are anything but conventional when it comes to home life.
We are never going to offer you a road map, because 1. we don’t have one and 2. like, who really wants to be told what to do? Instead, we promise to share it all here: the good the bad, the ups the downs, the shining moments and the glorious f*ck ups. We believe that story telling helps us to see the human in one another and the endless potential that lives within each one of us. We hope you’ll follow along.

I’m the boss. I was born to be the boss if you ask me (but don’t ask John). I am confident, creative, determined and most importantly, I am not afraid of getting it wrong. I get it wrong all the time and I try to turn every mess up into a lesson. The truth is, we are all meant to be the boss of our own lives…we just have to be invested in the study of ourselves.

I’m the CEO, at least that’s the fancy title J gave me. J has her head in the clouds, I am here to keep her feet on the ground. It works well though, because she keeps me from burying myself in my thoughts. I wouldn’t be doing this if she didn’t make me, but so the story goes for most things.
